Who can be a Member of House of Burnett?

Membership to House of Burnett and this site is for all those associated with or interested in the name of BURNETT and its history and traditions throughout the world. Are you a BURNETT, BURNET, BURNETTE, BARNET, BARNETT, BARNETTE, BERNIT, BERNAT, BURNAP, MACBURNET, or other spelling variation; married to a BURNETT; or descended from a BURNETT in either the male or female line?

The House of Burnett is a registered nonprofit corporation formed in the USA that serves as worldwide Burnett Society, with the full support and endorsement of the Chief of the Name, James C. A. Burnett of Leys.

How do I become a member of House of Burnett?

To join the House of Burnett as a voting member you will need to select a membership type and complete the purchase using Paypal.

Normal membership dues are $20(USD) per year for a general membership plan and $30(USD) for a family membership plan, which you can either pay yearly or by automatic subscription.  Join Now

What is a Convener?

Conveners are the appointed representatives and the faces of our House of Burnett organization at Highland Games and Celtic events across America. Conveners represent our House at games in their States of residence, and often times in adjacent States as well. Become a Convener and get involved! Learn more

Who pays for the tents at Highland Games?

Well, that depends. At this time, our Conveners and Board Members pay all costs at their own expense but we have been known in the past to cover costs of sponsorship of certain events. In the future, with an increase in membership and fundraising activity, we, House of Burnett, hope to cover these expenses.
